Our Services
Practical support for your organisation’s next steps
Spring Advisory helps sports clubs, community organisations and multi-sport facilities across Ireland secure funding, develop income and plan for the future.
We work alongside committees, boards and management teams, providing support that reflects their priorities and resources. Whether you need help with a funding application, a facility project or a wider organisational challenge, we agree a clear scope of work around what you want to achieve.
-
From your first idea to grant drawdown
A funding application starts with understanding what your organisation needs and how the proposed investment will make a difference. We help you develop that case, assemble the supporting information and navigate the funding process.
Our current focus is the Community Sport Facilities Fund (CSFF), supporting eligible facility and equipment projects.
We can help with:
Reviewing project readiness and funding eligibility.
Developing the project case, budget and supporting evidence.
Collating quotations, financial records and other required documents.
Identifying ownership, lease and shared-use documentation requirements.
Preparing the SPRAOI application and supporting submission.
Responding to requests for clarification.
Supporting procurement and grant drawdown following an award.
-
Make more of your club’s opportunities
Membership, sponsorship, events and facility use can all contribute to an organisation’s income. We help you assess these opportunities and develop an approach that suits your sport, community and capacity.
Our support can include reviewing existing income, developing sponsorship proposals, exploring commercial partnerships and identifying opportunities to attract and retain members. Where facilities are available for wider use, we can also help assess pricing, demand and partnership options.
The aim is to develop income your organisation can sustain and manage effectively.
-
Turn ambitions into an achievable plan
Deciding what to develop, when to invest and how to fund it can be challenging. We help organisations assess their options and set priorities based on their needs, finances and available resources.
Our support includes development plans, business cases, budgets, cash-flow forecasts and financial modelling. We can help compare project options, assess affordability and consider the ongoing costs of operating and maintaining new facilities.
This gives your committee a clearer basis for decisions and a practical plan to work towards.
-
Support the people running your organisation
Clear responsibilities and workable processes help committees make decisions and keep activities running smoothly. We work with organisations to review how they operate and identify improvements that fit their size and resources.
This can include clarifying committee roles, improving financial reporting, reviewing decision-making processes and developing practical approaches to risk management and operational planning.
We recognise the demands on volunteers. Our advice focuses on arrangements that people can understand, use and maintain.
-
Keep your project moving after funding is secured
A grant award is an important milestone, but delivering the project requires further decisions, documentation and coordination.
We help organisations understand the procurement requirements attached to their funding, prepare requests for quotations or tenders, assess supplier proposals and plan the steps towards delivery.
Our support can also include reviewing budgets and schedules, maintaining project records and coordinating the information needed for grant drawdown. Where specialist technical or legal advice is required, we help identify that need so your organisation can involve the appropriate professionals.
-
Explore what you can achieve together
Working with another club, school, university, council or community organisation can create opportunities to improve facilities and extend their use.
We help organisations explore potential partnerships, develop a shared project case and consider how access, responsibilities and costs could be managed. We can also help identify the permissions and documentation needed for a funding application.
Whether your organisation owns facilities or uses them by agreement, we can discuss the options available.
Support agreed around your needs
You can engage Spring Advisory for a defined project or discuss broader support for your organisation. We agree the scope, responsibilities, fees and terms before work begins.
For our CSFF application support, we work on a no win, no fee basis, with a fee of 4% of the total grant awarded if your application succeeds. Other advisory services are scoped and priced separately.
