Meet Spring Advisory
Experience behind your ambitions
Spring Advisory is an Irish sports consultancy helping sports clubs, community organisations and multi-sport facilities turn their plans into funded projects and lasting commercial growth.
We work with committees, boards and management teams across Ireland, bringing financial, commercial and project experience to the decisions they face. Whether an organisation is seeking funding, improving its facilities or exploring new income, our aim is to help it plan confidently and make better use of its resources.
Our immediate focus is supporting organisations throughout the Community Sport Facilities Fund. Our wider ambition is to build lasting relationships that support their development beyond a single funding application.
Why we established Spring Advisory
Running a sports organisation takes commitment. Alongside delivering activities and supporting members, committees must manage finances, maintain facilities, organise volunteers and plan for the future.
A worthwhile project can require considerable work before it is ready for funding or delivery. Gathering documents, developing a budget and understanding the requirements all take time and specialist knowledge.
We established Spring Advisory to provide practical support with these challenges. By working alongside the people who know their organisations best, we help develop a clear case for investment and a realistic plan for making it happen.
Meet the team
Spring Advisory brings together experience across sport, public-sector investment, funding, procurement and complex project delivery.
Our professional backgrounds include advising national sporting organisations, government departments, local authorities and public-sector bodies on investment decisions, infrastructure projects and strategic development. We also bring hands-on experience in grant applications and assessment, business cases, financial analysis and procurement.
This experience was gained through the team’s previous professional roles and informs the advice we now provide through Spring Advisory. It gives us an understanding of both the organisations seeking investment and the evidence needed to support sound funding decisions.
The experience we bring
Sport and public-sector investment
Our team’s experience includes reviewing funding and investment models for sports infrastructure, assessing facility investment programmes and supporting strategic reviews within the public leisure sector.
We draw on this background to help organisations explain the need for their projects, assess development options and demonstrate the benefits for participants and the wider community.
Funding and financial analysis
We bring experience in grant applications and assessment, business case development, financial modelling, value-for-money analysis and options appraisal.
For our clients, this means support with developing credible budgets, comparing potential approaches and building a clear funding case. We also help organisations consider the resources needed to deliver and maintain a project.
Procurement and project delivery
Our backgrounds include tender evaluation, financial due diligence, stakeholder engagement, governance, risk assessment and delivery planning for complex projects.
We apply that experience to helping clients understand their responsibilities, assess supplier proposals and navigate the steps between a funding award and grant drawdown.
How we work with you
We begin by listening to your organisation’s priorities, understanding its resources and discussing what it wants to achieve.
Our advice is practical and proportionate to the project. We agree the scope, responsibilities and fees at the outset, then work alongside your team through each agreed stage.
We understand that many sports organisations depend on volunteer time. Our role is to help make the work manageable, explain requirements clearly and keep the next steps in view.
Let’s talk about your organisation
Whether you are planning a funding application, developing your facilities or exploring new income, we would welcome a conversation about your priorities.
